Portrait Story Project

The Madison Community Co-operative now proudly hosts the bottomlining artist (Francesco, or, Cesco, for short) of The Faces of Madtown, A Portrait-Story Project of The City of Four Lakes.

All Madisonians who build community or local economy, connect with their land or achieve self-empowerment, who make this city and bioregion a special place may include themselves by writing their narratives upon a portrait drawn and painted of them by The Portrait-Story artist – Co-op members especially are encouraged to write about their experience self-organizing as members of intentional communities.

Any intending self-inclusion in “Faces of Madtown” may visit Cesco at Ambrosia 225 East Lake Lawn Pl. on appointment – e-mail:
wanderer@riseup.net
Or, with his portable “studio” in tow, he can visit a participant at any warm space in the city – for more details:

This co-generative series of aesthetic self-documentation lives at an artisanal pace, with dozens of these entries of self-documentation currently manifested; we expect this art-media-social phenomena to reach the scale of previous Portrait-Story Projects – check them out:
